I mean, how can you officially deny that the massacre took place and forbid any rememberance of said event.

Wikileaks cable : LATIN AMERICAN DIPLOMAT EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT OF JUNE 3-4 EVENTS ON TIANANMEN SQUARE
The Myth of Tiananmen And the Price of a Passive Press:

Jay Mathews is an education reporter for The Washington Post. He was the paper’s first Beijing bureau chief and returned in 1989 to help cover the Tiananmen demonstrations. With his wife, Linda Mathews, he is the author of One Billion: A China Chronicle. This piece originally ran in the September/October 1998 issue of the Columbia Journalism Review.
Is that from the "China Watch" section of the The Washington Post? Did it include the text "A Paid Supplement to The Washington Post"?
You do know that section was funded by the CCP?
The article was first published in the Columbia Journalism Review. His report is not the only one stating that the massacre never happened. Did you read the Wikileaks cable?
Here's another read

Is it so hard to believe that western governments and the dominant mass media have lied to you?
It doesn't definitively say that that article was printed in the Columbia Journalism Review. It says One Billion: A China Chronicle was published in it.
I haven't read the One Billion essay, so not sure if it is included there or just added in to give the article authentic weight.
If the CCP want people to believe them, they should perhaps stop paying papers like The Post to spread their paid for propaganda.
Don't you agree that the Wiki doc is a bit weak? No definitives. Mainly guesses.
"FROM WHAT HE COULD SEE, GALLO FELT
THAT MOST OF THE TENTS ON THE SQUARE WERE EMPTY WHEN THE ARMORED VEHICLES ROLLED OVER THEM"
"INITIALLY NOT MUCH WAS HAPPENING IN THE SQUARE AS MOST OF THE FIGHTING WAS TAKING PLACE TO
THE WEST. BODIES AND WOUNDED, HOWEVER, BEGAN TO
ARRIVE AT THE RED CROSS STATION INDICATING THE EXTENT
OF THE FIGHTING AND THE FACT THAT REAL BULLETS WERE BEING USED. AS THE MILITARY BEGAN TO REACH THE
OUTSKIRTS OF THE SQUARE AND SHOTS WERE FIRED IN THE VICINITY OF THE RED CROSS STATION, MRS. GALLO DECIDED SHE WANTED TO LEAVE"
"THE FEW THAT ATTEMPTED TO REMAIN BEHIND WERE BEATEN AND DRIVEN TO JOIN THE END OF THE DEPARTING PROCESSION. ONCE OUTSIDE THE SQUARE, THE STUDENTS HEADED WEST ON QIANMEN DAJIE WHILE GALLO HEADED EAST TO HIS CAR. THEREFORE, HE COULD NOT COMMENT ON
REPORTS THAT STUDENTS WERE AMBUSHED AND SLAUGHTERED IN THE ALLEY JUST WEST OF THE SQUARE NEAR THE BEIJING
CONCERT HALL."
Nothing definitive your side so far. I would say your love for China is clouding your judgement. I also hear you can make social credits at this sort of thing. See how hard the CCP make it to tell?
