Predict who replaces Boris
The situation in the UK looks grim. The rich get richer while the working poor survive meal to meal and the police turn the other way while the young and vulnerable are pimped out by vicious inbred Pakistani criminals. The British government will spare no expense to train and equip the Ukrainian military but they refuse to do anything for the impoverished.
This is Boris Johnson's Britain.

Most members on this forum will agree that the crime rate in the places where Chinese have settled in Cambodia have risen sharply.
However if you ask them about crime rates in Britain were a large immigrant population live no such correlation will be found.
In fact as far as the police were concerned the girls who were groomed by Pakistani men had it coming because they were s****. What other things have the police been turning a blind eye to?
I hope that England can get a prime minister who can lead and isn't lead.

Loads of jobs about, it's just many can't be arsed to do hard labour.
The laziest - can you pay my rent with your taxes, dole scrounging feckers, often look the most entitled and angry.
I'm fairly certain I'm living next door to one of those.
So sod the impoverished.

There is tons of work where I live at the moment too. Lines of customers outside restaurants that close early because they can't hire enough staff. I have a bunch of Taiwanese friends who work 12 hour days 4 days a week, then play hard the other 3. Inflation IS crazy, and the government should do a much better job, but it certainly doesn't feel like the end of the world. 'Work hard, play hard' isn't saving much for the future, but living it doesn't feel so bad.
But, I'm not living under Boris. Is there really no work there?

A waiter in London can work full time and try his best to save money for twenty years and still not be able afford a three bedroom house on a quiet street. Why should the British working class be invested in society when home ownership is increasingly becoming an unobtainable privilege?spitthedog wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 11:35 pmI've been working my ass off in Oi'land.Harold wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 8:44 pm

There is nothing wrong with markets and free enterprise and private property but this current usurious system has led to an intolerable and constantly growing income gap between the poorest and most vulnerable and the richest.
It is only going to get worse this winter when Europe collapses because of the energy crisis.
The housing situation in Dublin is horrible. I feel bad for the Celtic island dwellers. Erin's Emerald island is now a tax haven and dumping ground for every major multinational corporation. The economy has no real foundation and will crack under pressure.

^^ And yet if you compared that same waiter in London to a waiter in The Penh....Harold wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 9:07 pmA waiter in London can work full time and try his best to save money for twenty years and still not be able afford a three bedroom house on a quiet street. Thank God I'm not a flip flop wearing mechanic in The Bodge.
Total respect to them.
Housing is the only real worry in Oi'land.

Things are worse in Afghanistan. That doesn't mean things are going well in the UK. A waiter in the UK used to be able support a family and a stay at home wife. They might have clipped coupons and eaten potatoes and macaroni for half of their meals but at least they owned a house and therefore had a stake in the future of the country.
Although you are correct that there is a underclass of thieves and drug addicts and other various scum that Marx referred to as the lumpenproletariat.
The IRA used to shoot drug dealers. While I don't agree with their methods, it is obvious that vigilante justice is better than no justice. The state needs to impose curfews on bars and clubs and hand out harsh sentences for serious crimes like drug dealing. They should censor any media that promotes vices like drug use and liberally use the death penalty for people who traffick in pornography and smut. The UK and Ireland are already authoritarian states. It is illegal to deny historical events like the Holocaust in both countries. London police harass, fine, and imprison British subjects for using homophobic and ethnic slurs and for misgendering people on social media. The British state actively polices the culture and uses force and violence to shape the culture. They should either liberalize and guarantee the right to free speech like the US has or they should use the power of the state to eliminate vice and social ills.

bwahahaha
Try using that free speech on a US social media account, on a network owned by a US citizen, or publish your opinion in a newspaper or online forum. Anything any snowflake finds offensive will be targeted and censored
imho, Cambodia has greater free speech in some respects than the US, we know which few topics to avoid, but the rest are fair game
Liz Truss takes the helm but only securing 57% of the vote. She will be the 3rd woman to be PM of Britain.

Truss is a whackjob. How is she in any way better for the job of Prime Minister than Sunak in your opinion?
She seems like the most hawkish candidate to me.

Methinks her best quality (in the opinion of the above poster) is that she is less brown than Rishi.
Otherwise why would he mention the ethnicity?
He’s British - as in born and raised there.
You can thank the British government for letting his “brown” foreign parents in as refugees.
Used to work a lot with Indians (not Pakis. They smell) and Bengalis and without doubt the smartest and hardest workers compared to the feckless “white” locals, who didn’t have a clue or just didn’t work.

Oh please do f*** off smelly farts . Just because he has a British passport means nothing about his true loyalties. He will be living in America within the year.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:23 pmMethinks her best quality (in the opinion of the above poster) is that she is less brown than Rishi.

I don't want a PM who's main motivation is money and not civic duty.
Here is an idea instead of telling me what I think why don't you ask. I know listening is so overrated nowadays especially when everyone's a mind reader.
