Truss supports fracking. Fracking probably would help to mitigate the spiraling energy prices. Detractors claim that renewables are four times as cheap as fossil fuels but renewables don't reliably generate energy.
I am reading all sorts of crazy articles these days about skyrocketing energy prices in the UK and Europe. A lot of restaurants and pubs and small businesses are closing shop in the UK and Germany. spitthedog says there are loads of jobs but that is not the impression I get.

It’s going up 80 percent in October and is then predicted to go up another 55% on Jan 1 and a further 20-25% in April. That is not hyped up doom and gloom stories. The October rise is a fact and the Jan and April rises are strong forecasts based on the futures contract price for natural gas. Many believe those rises will be higher given the the closure of NS1YaTingPom wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 10:51 pmThe media are having a spunk fest with the hyped up doom and gloom stories. It has to do with western governments, including the British government, imposing sanctions on Russia. The Europeans and British did this to themselves. Truss is one of the most outspoken proponents for confronting Russia so she bears responsibility for the sorry state of the UK economy.

I don't want a PM who's main motivation is money and not civic duty.
Here is an idea instead of telling me what I think why don't you ask. I know listening is so overrated nowadays especially when everyone's a mind reader.

Isn't Harry a proper white Brit and he fucked off to Canada with a brown skinned chick?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:01 amYeah, I’m with you. Then you have zero candidates in Tory or almost none (who would be allowed to run) in Labour. Fact.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:01 amI don't want a PM who's main motivation is money and not civic duty.
