Predict who replaces Boris
After first round of voting, both Hunt and Zahawi are out, with Sunak, Mordant and Truss now the leading 3.angsta wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 5:47 pmSomething about this crew makes me think they may have problems keeping the red wall onside. So, which twat will it be? I don't see Patel or Truss on that list (sigh of eelief)
1. Sunak
2. Hunt
3. Javid (after the COVID farce, really?)
4. Mordaunt
5. Shapps
6. Zahawi
7. Tugendhat
8. Badenoch
9. Braverman
More interestingly, Penny Mordaunt: Would ya? I find her alluring.
I'm sure if we had more girl members, they'd do Rishi....perhaps some of the confirmed bachelors too.

The voting public are such a bunch of milquetoasts.

The leading 3 remain unchanged after the 2nd round. It will be no surprise Sunak takes the helm given his stint as the Exchequer.
I’m not so sure. He will certainly make it to the final two but then it’s up to 170,000 party members. He is the only candidate not to pledge instant tax cuts (hardly surprising as he is the Tory chancellor responsible for the highest tax rates in living memory) and that will not go well with the rank and file member.Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Fri Jul 15, 2022 2:08 pmThe leading 3 remain unchanged after the 2nd round. I think that's exactly the reason he won't get the job.Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Fri Jul 15, 2022 2:08 pmThe leading 3 remain unchanged after the 2nd round. It will be no surprise Sunak takes the helm given his stint as the Exchequer.

Those tax hikes don't look good on his c.v., granted, but reckon Sunak will take it. He was the first minister to resign in the recent spate of resignations and he may have gained enough support from that.

I would like to see Kemi Badenoch win but predict that creepy little globalist Sunak wins. Liz Truss is awful also.
She seems like the best candidate although that isn't saying much. I respect her for standing up to the woke mob and bigots in the LGBT community. She is quite different from Boris "Build Back Better" Johnson.Hot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote: ↑Sat Jul 16, 2022 2:10 amI would like to see Kemi Badenoch win but predict that creepy little globalist Sunak wins. But what are her views on Britain's foreign policy?

No idea what her views on foreign policy are mate, but then again I'd say she has better dealings with foreigners than say.....the Comanches.
Did they really roast captives alive, and cut off their genitals and stuff them in their mouths?
Or stake them in the ground and cut off their eyelids for the ants?

Her views are probably irrelevant as Foreign Policy is set by the Mandarins and think tanks.Harold wrote: ↑Sat Jul 16, 2022 4:52 pmShe seems like the best candidate although that isn't saying much.
