Trump 2024
'Murca..
Trump is the projected winner
Donald Trump is projected to win the Iowa Republican caucuses, according to CBS News.
Majority of Iowa caucusgoers do not believe Biden won 2020 election legitimately
About two-thirds of Iowa caucusgoers do not believe Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 election, with that number going up to nine in 10 among those voting for Trump tonight.
Early interviews with voters in Iowa Republican caucus locations suggest Donald Trump's 'Make America Great Again' movement is well-represented here.
Polling backs that up. Roughly half of caucus goers in CBS entrance polling said they consider themselves part of the "Maga movement".

Excellent, we’re going to have a full year of this crap aren’t we? Then potentially 4 more years of nonsense if Trump wins, and 4 years of nonsense if he loses.
Marvellous stuff

Two thirds of Iowan's originate from Germans. You would think they'd have more sense.
There is also a large community of Asians aswell, especially Burmese, Thais and Vietnamese, brought in for the large factories, and a large Native American population.

But didn’t only Republicans get to vote? And I guess even among those, only the MAGA crowd would brave arctic temperatures. They’ve shown that they are not the smartest lot.spitthedog wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:20 pmTwo thirds of Iowan's originate from Germans. You would think they'd have more sense.

Precisely this. Even here he only just got over half the votes of a Republican only caucus. The media doesn’t seem to want to express that out loud, preferring to continue the audience pulling narrative that Trump is back.
He isn’t. Not by a long shot.
It is painfully obvious that he'll win both the Republican vote, and then the presidency.

I don't know too much about Trump only what I catch on Australian TV.
My question is for those who know American politics. If Trump was to be elected as president, would the current model of American foreign policy stay roughly the same? Or not?

No, it wouldn't. He wants to pull out of NATO, and give Ukraine to Putin. That will be a complete disaster for the world economy. He has some deluded belief that the US can survive isolationism.
